In May 2023, the former Sapphire Lounge became The Dan. Located in the Hotel Flor Tampa in downtown Tampa, the Dan has a Roaring Twenties speakeasy vibe. The menu balances local ingredients with classic dishes and feature raw oysters, steaks and seafood. Our "historically-inspired" cocktail program includes specialty drinks like Champagne Cocktail (Champagne, cognac, bitters and cotton candy) and Bourbon Street Blues (bourbon, amaro and Carpano Antica).
Our downtown Tampa bar near Hyde Park makes for one of the iconic bars in Florida, boasting soft lighting and 1920's jazz music with a "familiar beat".
If you are looking for a draft beer, stiff whiskey, or a refreshing cocktail, Hotel Flor's The Dan is your spot. It boasts history and elegance, offering a specially handcrafted selection of wines, beers, and cocktails with a modern Gulf Coast dining menu. Located on the lower level of the hotel; and open daily.
